Plot/Sypnosis:
There was a civil strife in the court. In order to protect the king, some loyal ministers and the king hid in an old house. This old house was known as a haunted house; whoever lived in the house shall die for sure. Mr. and Mrs. Tse went to the haunted house but died in it. Their son Tse Tin Jun wanted to find out the truth of his parents’ death, so he went to the house. At the mean time, another minister knew the king’s hiding in the house. He sent out a military force to kill the king. Actually Mr. and Mrs. Tse pretended to die to deceive the public. Tin Jun stood with his parents and the loyal ministers to fight against the rebels.

Plot/Sypnosis:
Swordplay novels by Jin Yong (aka Louis Cha) have been adapted into numerous TV series and films. Sword Stained with Royal Blood is no exception. Mainland Chinese director Zhang Jizhong, after turning a few Jin Yong novels into well-received TV series, adapts Sword Stained With Royal Blood into an intriguing swordplay drama, with more historical elements added compared to previous versions. Singer/actor Bobby Dou stars as Yuan Chengzhi, son of a general who has been killed by the emperor. He comes across a beautiful girl named Qingqing, portrayed by Eva Huang from Kungfu Hustle, and they embark on exciting adventures together, with Yuan still bearing in mind his desire to avenge his father’s death. On his journey, he befriends another girl, Jiu, which after they have formed a close relationship, she reveals her real identity as the royal princess, daughter of the emperor who killed Yuan’s father.

Plot/Sypnosis:
TVB made a series of costume dramas in the 80s based on famous swordplay novels by Jin Yong. His Legend of the Condor Heroes, considered a seminal work of martial arts fiction, has been adapted numerous times to TV dramas and film, but none has attained as much as popularity as the one made by TVB in 1983. The innocent swordsman played by Felix Wong Yat Wah and the witty girl played by the late Yung Mei Ling have remained one of the best on-screen couples in Hong Kong’s TV history. The cast also features Michael Miu Kiu Wai, Sharon Yang Pan Pan, Patrick Tse Yin, and Louise Lee Shut Ki.

The Guo and the Yang clan face brutal mass slaughter during the Southern Song era and all survivors scatter into different directions afterwards. Guo Jing (Felix Wong), the successor of the Guo clan, is full of sincerity and perseverance. What’s more, ever since his early childhood, he has been trained in top secret martial arts. The superb martial arts scholar accidentally runs into the lively and charming Huang Rong (Yung Mei Ling), which triggers a risky life and death romance!

Plot/Sypnosis:
Dicky Cheung plays Wong Fei Hung, the legendary martial artist, and he has 3 students; Leung Foon (Zheng Xiao Dong), Porky Wing (Lam Chi Chung) and Bucktooth So (Ben Cheung). Fei Hung is sent by his father Wong Kei Ying to set up a Po Chi Lam branch in Hong Kong. Before he departs, his parents made arrangement with parents of Chi Wah (Alice Chan) to marry both of them. Due to a misunderstanding, Chi Wah refuses to marry, and runs off to Hong Kong instead. Due to twist of fate, Fei Hung and Chi Wah meet up again in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, Fei Hung befriends a soft-spoken Japanese girl, Ching Heung. Ching Heung likes Fei Hung very much, and Fei Hung too, has feelings for her, but couldn’t accept her due to his promise of marriage. Annie Man plays Little Sparrow, a witty girl who earns a living by pickpocketing. She and Leung Foon eventually fall in love, and Leung Foon convinces her to turn over a new leaf.

Plot/Sypnosis:
Heroes of Sung stars one of the original kung-fu ladies of the silver screen Shih Szu playing swordswoman Meng Hung who must work with Fan Tien-fu, played by perennial Shaws bad guy Lo Lieh (although he’s good in this) to find then protect the royal seals of the Sung Dynasty. If they should fail, the dynasty will fall. Shih’s magnificent performance earned her the female hero role in the Shaws-Hammer Studio hit “Dracula” and the 7 Golden Vampires.
