Plot/Synopsis
Reincarnation is a brilliant film, plain and simple. It is unique in that it relies on imagination and psychology to scare you and make you think twice about the world around you. The director did a fabulous job constructing the imagery of the film, and I genuinely did not know about the ending until it was revealed. Quite a shock! Reincarnation goes in my book as the single greatest indie horror film I have ever seen. Anyone who bashes it is simply not giving it a chance or doesn’t fully realize the complex dialog and imagery around them. It is an intriguing story and has good acting in it and most of all the camera angles are really scary. Japanese film has something the western films do not have, something almost surreal, at least to us, being from a different culture and all. Brilliant!

Synopsis / Plot
In a run-down, suburban Bangkok hospital, young Dr. Tar (Wichan Jarujinda) and seven nurses have been running a scheme to sell dead bodies on the black market. But one nurse, Tawan (Chol Wachananont), has found out that her boyfriend, Dr. Tar, has been having an affair with her sister, Nook (Chidjun Rujiphan), is tired of the body-selling scam, and is ready to call the police.
However, before Tawan can take action, the doctor and six resident nurses at the hospital, strap Tawan to an operating table, kill her and then wrap her in a black, plastic garbage bag. They then dump her in the trunk of the doctor’s car, where her corpse will be kept on dry ice until it can be sold.
All the woman have their own obsessions and weaknesses, which are preyed upon in the days that follow, when Tawan’s ghost returns to kill each one of her former co-workers.- -Wiki

Plot:

A bunch of semi-hot idols get freaked out in The Haunted School, a so-so teen horror flick produced by the guy who directed the film that inspired The Departed. Infernal Affairs co-director Andrew Lau had a hand in this deadly-generic genre entry, though it’s former exploitation king “Cash” Chin Man-Kei who’s at the helm. Chin certainly seems to have learned from Lau; Haunted School is full of flashy editing tricks and completely superfluous style. Shock sound effects, overamped screams, MTV-style flashes and cuts – Chin employs a full repertoire of stylish film technique in an attempt to jazz up this tired genre. He partly succeeds; Haunted School is egregiously stylish, which could amuse ADD-addled audiences looking for more than the usual slow-moving Asian horror fare. Whether or not you should see the film is relative to what you’re expecting.
