Plot/Synopsis
Thai director Tanit Jitnukul (BANG RAJAN) crafts a lush historical epic infused with the warrior tradition of his native land in the romantic action melodrama SEMA: THE WARRIOR OF AYODHAYA. The eponymous hero (Voravit Kaewpand) is a poor boy who dreams of becoming a royal fighter and finally gets his chance when King Naraesuan (Jaran Ngamdee) appoints him to the prestigious elephant guard. But Sema’s military success sparks jealousy in his rival Moo Khan (Sririwat Chevasud)–especially when the lower-class soldier falls in love with Moo Khan’s aristocratic fiancée, Princess Rayrai (Sawinee Pookaroon)–sparking an intense round of competition marked by hardhitting swordplay action sequences.

Rookie Sergeant Lee (Shawn Yue) is injured in a shoot-out and is assigned to the dubious-sounding Miscellaneous Affairs Department (MAD). There, he is paired up with Inspector Wong (Ekin Cheng), a jaded and alcoholic veteran who explains that MAD’s role is to answer supernatural calls. Wong explains MAD’s rule number one - there are no ghosts. For every seemingly inexplicable phenomenon, there is a corresponding scientific and rational explanation. MAD begins investigating a string of bizarre teenage suicides - impossible suicides, unless the victims were possessed. As Lee and Wong follow the clues, they realise something sinister is heading their way.

Synopsis:
The story is adapted from the ancient Chinese classic ‘Ghost Stories’ (or Liao Chai).

Plot/Synopsis
Thailand continues its run of supremely creepy, atmospheric horror films with director Thorkranong Sirchua\’s sci-fi frightfest, UNHUMAN.
