Plot/Synopsis:
Eugene (Sam Milby) arrives in Bukidnon with only one intention: to forget his problems at work. But when he meets Raffy (KC Concepcion) and as they travel and go on ridiculous and death-defying activities together, they start to form a friendship that goes beyond Euge’s original plan. Raffy helps Euge appreciate himself more and to look at things in a positive way. With Raffy, Euge begins to believe in himself again. Soon, against his own expectations, he admits to himself that has fallen in love with this girl. But life is truly ironic. The moment Euge expresses his feelings for her, Raffy suddenly starts to push him away. She admits that he can never have her, and she doesn’t want Eugene to hope for a happy ending with her, because she cannot be loved. Now, it is Euge’s turn to make Raffy believe in love again, just as how she reminded him to believe in himself. But is faith enough to change the course of their destiny…

Sa Aking Pagkakagising Mula Sa Kamulatan is a full length digital picture that takes a realistic glimpse of the Filipino youth in the gulf of Manila’s urban gullies. It tackles socially-related issues surrounding the intersecting lives of marginalized ordinary Manileños. Presented in a staggered vista of correlated events, the movie explores the day-to-day survival of the characters and their broken dreams, pent-up anger and abnormal sexuality. Sa Aking Pagkakagising Mula Sa Kamulatan conveys its message powerfully in a daring and unapologetic way– using street lingo to it’s fullest. The story unfolds one night when Rey, the docile and cowardly teenage student is mauled as he passes by a drinking spree of street toughies: Pogie, Jopet, Kahoy and Taba. The four release their sadistic energy on him, transforming his handsome face into a bloody mess. Braggart Pogi hates Rey for the simple reason that he secretly loves Rey’s girlfriend, Angel, who has a clueless father. Jopet, a self-claimed police asset, finds Rey a convenient substitute for pouring out his hatred for his handler, Lakay, a sadistic cop. The vagrant baker/snatcher Kahoy and Taba, the bum, join in for the sake of camaraderie. While Rey lies unconscious on the pavement, the group continues drinking as if nothing happened. Some neighbors try to intervene, but reluctant to get involved. Rey regains consciousness and finds his tormentors drunk and asleep. What happens next is anybody’s guess.

Plot/Synopsis
Harishchandrachi Factory is that rare thing – a delightful film that makes its point with charm, simplicity and a wonderful lightness of being.
The film, which starts in 1911, is about Dadasaheb Phalke, the pioneer who made India’s first feature film “Raja Harishchandra” in 1913. Director Paresh Mokashi’s triumph is that instead of predictably eulogizing this extra-ordinary man, the film humanizes him and celebrates his utterly mad and ferocious passion for cinema.
Phalke, played by Nandu Madhav, wanders into a cinema tent quite by chance but he is hooked after experiencing his first moving pictures. He watches them repeatedly until he almost goes blind. At one point, his close friends fear for his sanity and take him to a mental hospital. Undeterred, Phalke collects money and leaves his pregnant wife and two children to go to England to learn the art of filmmaking. As he leaves, he instructs a friend not to notify him even if someone dies since he cannot come back before his training is over. The struggle to make Raja Harishchandra provides ample comedy and chaos. Even prostitutes refuse to work in a film because it would ruin their reputation so Phalke fakes boys for girls. At one point, the entire unit is arrested because the police mistake them for bandits. And when Raja Harishchandra premieres on May 3, 1913, only a stray dog shows up causing Phalke to remark: well, at least no one can say even a stray dog didn’t show up. Mokashi’s portrays Phalke as a Chaplinesque figure who can make you laugh and cry in a heartbeat. This movie won lot of national & international awards.

Plot/Sypnosis:

Plot/Sypnosis:
In the 19th century, the Prince Regent of the Qing Dynasty orders the mass execution of the entire Meng clan. The power and purity of his voice touches the opera star Master Yu and his seven-year-old pupil Guan Yilong. Master Yu rescues the boy and the two orphans become brothers. Years later, Master Yu wins the coveted golden “The Mightiest Warrior” plaque from the Prince Regent, but subsequently loses it in a duel with his archrival Master Yue. Banished from the stage upon his loss, Master Yu spends his time training the two brothers in the village. When the boys grow into men, they set off for Shanghai to pursue revenge. Once they reach Shanghai, they quickly defeat Master Yue, reclaiming not only the plaque but also taking over the Yue’s opera troupe.
