The motif of this movie is similar to that of “apocalypse now”. Like this classic movies about Vietnam, R point described the horror which the soldiers confronted at the battle field. Although this movie adopted many things from ‘apocalypse now’, it shows another type of the horror- in the oriental meaning- “punitive justice”. no one would return home if he committed bloody thing. What the soldiers felt as original sin is what they committed in Vietnam. And the curse was cast on them as Chinese troop, french troop, and US troop (they were all the invaders to Vietnam) were “punished”.
The director said that he wanted to make this movie as antiwar movie. I think that he oscillated between “horror movie” and “antiwar movie”. The plot is monotonous and solders’ mental state and personal history were so much omitted that it hard to understand without further information. However, I think that his attempt is relatively successful. I thought much about the deployment of Korean troop to Iraq, after I saw this movie.

Story: Eun Sik is 28 years old and has recently started school at the university. He is a member of the Cha Ryu group and practices with them daily, through painful endurance training. He meets the much younger and gorgeous Eun Hyo, for whom he holds a completely one-sided attraction. Eun Sik’s amazingly unlucky, and a host of embarrassing situations happen to him. Through all of this, him and his insanely horny group of friends help make one of the most memorable sex comedies, complete with both hilarious and somewhat dramatic moments.
Sex is Zero starts as a goofball comedy (and rather funny at that) but later adds Korean drama that shouldn’t have been mixed with a comedy. There are some good laughs and both boys and girls mess up well occasionally. Most of the jokes only work in a movie and in context and as a surprise.

Set in rural Thailand during the 1920s Dan Chupong (Born to Fight) plays Zieng aka The Rocket Thief, a young man riddled with grief and bent on revenge after witnessing his parents’ murder by a callous and malicious killer. The only information Zieng, has as to the killer’s identity is the memory of a tattoo-covered man who is part of an organized group of cattle rustlers. Zieng discovers from a second almighty warlock of supposedly good and kind nature that the evil counterpart has one weakness, if the menstrual blood of a young virgin is harnessed it can be blended with bullets, arrow heads and explosives to him or even kill him. Armed with this knowledge a few hundred highly charged rockets and a dash of menstrual blood our intrepid hero goes up against one of the most dangerous men to have ever walked the earth. After a galactic battle Zieng leaves the warlock beaten, bruised and stripped all of his powers. It is here that he learns the awful and terrifying truth of what he has just unleashed. For the lifeless body of the dead warlock that lay before him is in fact not an evil warlock at all, but a good warlock who has been at loggerheads with his evil counterpart for his eons. Zieng has been deceived by a terrible and evil soul. On killing the good warlock he has released the magician’s powers, transferring them to the evil one who as Zieng was about to find out killed his parents many years before.

“My Girl and I” features the well-known plot of an ill-fated couple. Su-ho (Cha Tae-hyeon) is a plain high school boy, and Su-eun (Song Hye-kyo) is a bright and beautiful girl in the same school. For some unknown reason, Su-eun has a crush on the boy, and for equally mysterious reasons she rescues Su-ho in the sea (though he doesn’t know who actually saved him). In the process, Su-eun loses her pager. When she discloses the relationship with Su-ho at school, despite envy and disbelief from other classmates, she asks Su-ho to buy her a pager so that they can communicate with each other through voice messages - a secret communication channel since So-eun’s parents are quite strict. The way the couple develops affection is bearable, helped by images of a beautiful seaside village and equally enchanting coastlines. Supporting characters like Su-ho’s grandfather (Lee Soon-jae) jazz up the otherwise too simplified storyline.

The future looks cloudy for him. Duck paddle boats pounding on top of the water in Choonchun City. After getting drunk, Myung-sook shows up and kisses Gyung-soo on the spot. Gyung-soo goes down to Choonchun City to meet an old friend who’s a writer. They go out to the town and Gyung-soo’s friend introduces him to a pretty and well-curved dancer named Myung-sook. After having a drink with Gyung-soo and his friend, she suddenly hits on Gyung-soo and on the spur of the moment they hit it off and go to a motel. But no one knew that Gyung-soo’s writer friend liked Myung-soo even though he never revealed his true feelings for her. Gyung-soo’s relationship with his friend turns sour as Myung-sook becomes obsessively infatuated with Gyung-soo. The faint sounds of the train in Gyungjoo City. He meets a mysterious woman named Sun-young. Gyung-soo tries to put his bad memories of Choonchun behind him and gets on a train headed for Gyungjoo City. Sitting next to him on the train is a woman named Sun-young who entices him after recognizing his face. After she gets off the train, he chases after Sun-young and stops her, but she gives him mixed signals. Gyung-soo follows Sun-young to her house and on the next day he brews up enough courage to knock on her door. This time Gyung-soo becomes infatuated with love.

Popular manga series Death Note first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2003. With its anti-hero protagonist, dark psychological themes, innovative premise, and unpredictable plot twists, Death Note was an instant hit, amassing an avid readership in its three years of serialization. It was later published in a 12-volume set in multiple languages, selling 18 million copies worldwide. In summer 2006, the film version of Death Note, starring Fujiwara Tatsuya and Matsuyama Kenichi became a blockbuster success throughout Asia.
Death god Ryuk has attracted much attention in the film. Nakamura Shidou’s (Be with You) voice convincingly attributes a personality to this CG-generated character. Ryuk leaves his killing weapon, the Death Note, in the mortal world, just to see what will happen. As the instructions within the notebook clearly state, the human whose name is written in the notebook dies.
Bright and restless student Light (Fujiwara Tatsuya) picks up the notebook, and soon realizes the power that has been bestowed upon him. He adopts the name Kira (Killer) and sets about ridding the world of criminals. His callous renegade justice, however, is not tolerated by the authorities. Faced with so many unexplained deaths, the police enlist the assistance of the young genius L, whose eccentricity is aptly portrayed by Matsuyama Kenichi. And so begins a dangerous battle of wits between the mysterious L and the increasingly calculating Light.
