Synopsis / Plot

“The Two in Tracksuits (Jaji no Futari)” directed by Yoshihiro Nakamura of “Ahiru to Kamo no Coin-locker” and “The Glory of Team Batista” fames. Stars Masato Sakai and Makoto Ayukawa. 32-year-old son quits his job and is persuaded by his father to come to a cottage at summer resort, Kita Karuizawa. The two of them manage to get through their days while wearing old jerseys left by deceased grandmother. They spend casual days at the summer resort, but in fact, they have problems left in Tokyo each other. The story lambently depicts ordinary, but a little bit odd and humorous days and relationship between father, son, and people surrounding them.
