Amazing visual essay on disconnection and the voyeur as both parasite and willing slave to an “the voracious appetite” society has for futile wish fullfillment driven by apathy and techno-fetishism.

Shinya Tsukamoto does a great job as an obsessive compiler of “real life” via video capture. Another genre defying piece of filmic artistry. It would seem hollywood can only produce watered down remakes of international films that dare to explore the craft involved in making good “cinema”…

This film floats between essay/poem/thriller without getting silly or settling for an obvious explanation as to what it intends leaving it up to the viewer to decide.

Thanx to this site I have been hipped to the fact that film making is alive and well everywhere except hollywood! [ya think?]
    –thanx for the upload.

Got something to say?
